Every teacher has faced student behavior issues, and if you haven't yet, you will. It’s easy to ask, “Why can’t they just behave?” but it's crucial to reflect on our own actions. What measures have we taken to prevent these issues?

How do you feel about confrontation? "I hope I get to confront someone today!"—said no one ever. Many people dislike or even fear confrontation, and I can’t say it is my favoring thing either. So why does God command us in Matthew 18:15-20 to confront those who offend us?

Let’s face it, AI (artificial intelligence) isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Instead of fighting it, why not embrace it and help our students embrace it in the right way? I believe students can be trained in appropriate ways to use AI in an ELA classroom.

I don’t know about you, but I am nowhere near perfect! I know, I know, this may seem obvious. Then tell me why, as educators and leaders, we sometimes feel the need to cover our mistakes so they are not known? Why do we feel a need to be “perfect” in front of our students and colleagues?
